This is a problem, because chatzilla will not allow me to send any commands untill it recieves this ping, but the proxy does not send the ping, so its impossible to use chatzilla with this proxy program. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get the proxy 2. Run the proxy with any kind of configuration 3. Attempt to connect to it Actual Results: It fails to continue to 'connect', even though it is connected. Expected Results: Continuted to connect, and let me send the commands required to run the proxy.

Pings are unrelated. ChatZilla does not consider itself connect until the 001 message numeric has been recieved. If your proxy is not sending this, your proxy is completely going against the IRC protocol specification and needs fixing. Some useful information, e.g. network communication trace, would be useful if you don't want me resolving this bug INVALID. Thanks.
