This is related to bug 28022. When you type Japanese characters in one input text and move to the different input text field, the IME status window will be displayed as [あ] only, no windows when you come back to the input text field you typed before. steps of reproduce 1. Go to above URL 2. Go to the first text field under Customer ID: 3. Turn on IME by Shift + Space and type Japanese characters 4. Go to the second text field and type Japanese characters 5. Turn on IME by Shift + Space and type Japanese characters 6. Move back to the first text field and click on some Japanese characters Notice the IME status window sometimes is displayed as [あ] only. Tested 2000022108 Linux and 2000022212 Linux build.

This looks duplicated to 28022 and 20983, so I believe a big patch for ic-per-shell will solve it.

The big patch has been check-ed in to fix the problem by enabling ic-per-shell and on-the-spot. (r=pavlov,ftang,erik, a=waterson)
