Also works for any Line 4 or 5, etc but not 1 or 2. Reproducible: Always

worksforme with linux suite trunk 2005040105. can you attach the whole page (as it is before deleting the text) to this bug?

Using Mozilla 1.7.6 and Mozilla 1.8b1 I can't reproduce this bug with just the code from comment 0, but I see this bug when I Edit>Cut (or Ctrl+X) the text 'Reg matrix: (Proud of you)' or 'jokes: #662 trial - Hyperspace' from the attached Test page. When I just backspace/delete the mentioned lines I only see this bug after an Edit>Cut action on those lines. Also it seems that once provoked this buggy behaviour is persistent until Composer is closed and reopened, so this is a tricky bug to analyze.

ok, I'm seeing it now with linux trunk 2005040201. I don't know why I couldn't reproduce it before.
