Aftar extration is completed, no installation starts. Only a flick of the screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start the Firefox 1.0.2 by clicking on the Downloaded Firefox Setup 1.0.2
2.The Extraction procedes regularly.
3.Aftar Extractio is completed, a window 'Mozilla Firefox Setup' appears for a
fraction of a second, then the screen flickers once and everything stops there.
Actual Results:  
Just nothing!.

Expected Results:  
Start and procede with the installation.

Firefox 0.9.2 Installs properly.
The same problem I experience with Thunderbird > .9
No problem with Window XP home.

WFM -- just downloaded and installed Firefox 1.0.2 onto a Win98 SE box --
installed versio is:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2

I can reproduce this bug.
I clicked on automatic upgrade, downloaded FF 1.0.2 and same results - non working previus install (1.0) and no installation of new version.
I uninstaled prev. version, but w/o changes. And the worst - I can not install 1.0 anymore too.

Non working versions: 1.0; 1.0.2; 1.0.3 (pre?).
Working version: 1.0 PR

On other Win98 boxs with similar setup installation works fine.

A cure for the Bug.
 Following the comment from [e-mail] that Firefox 1.0.2 does install
on a Windows 98 System with no proevious installed Versions of Firefox,I cured
successful the problem by:
a)Searching for all Firefox Files with Search>Firefox.
b)Deleating all Firefox files in the Windows folder left over from proevious   
  installations.
c)Proceiding,then, with the upgrading installation. It worked for me!.
