I cannot upload images anymore. When i use opera or iexplore it works. I've got the same problem couple of weeks ago. The problem solved when firefox 1.0.1 arrived. I've tried to reinstal over and over agait the 1.0 version. The problem was still there. When i've updated firefox with the new version everything was ok, until now. Today i was uploading some pitures on my site (www.badorgood.com) and after 3 succesfull uploads i've got the message: something like " The file u are trying to upload isn't an jpg". Ofcourse it was a jpeg image. I realised that the problem reocured ( apeared again). Reproducible: Always
(Firefox / FAT / special character / upload) Uploading a file with special character in his name to a website is unable I have the same trouble when I upload files with special character to wikipedia All my informations are there : http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Yug/Bug_Firefox%2C_FAT_and_special_characters That' s seem to be Firefox on and W2K or FAT systemfile who cannot work together to upload a file.
Not sure if this is the same issue. After upgrading from Firefox 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 with Windows XP I have problems uploading pdf files to my website. The website runs Plone, a CMS. I upload to a "File" content type and the site is supposed to detect the mime type and save it with the file. With an upload from Firefox it's detecting "text/unknown". With Internet Explorer it detects "application/pdf". This causes all sorts of problems when the site displays it, but that's not the issue here. My understanding of the upload process is that the browser is supposed to transmit this mime information, but it's getting it wrong. Fairly sure it wasn't happening with 1.0.3.
