User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; es-ES; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050321 Firefox/1.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; es-ES; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050321 Firefox/1.0.2 In spanish ThunderBird v1.0, on Windows XP: Since a few days ago, I noticed duplicate (up to 4 copies of the same news) messages in a RSS folder, so I decided to delete it and re-create the feed account. The URL for the account I wanted to create is: http://rss.groups.yahoo.com/group/Trivial-pursuit/rss At first, Thunderbird downloaded 16 messages when adding the subscription, but then only showed 2 of them: the oldest and the newest ones. Since then, I tried to delete & recreate the subscription several times (erasing the folder with all messages and emptying the waste bin), and the same happened every time, but since 0h from today, TB wasn't able to read the RSS feed anymore. It just locks after adding the subscription in the "RSS Subscriptions" window, with a "Comprobando el hilo" ("checking the thread" or something like that -- I have Spanish TB), but never seems to get any messages. But I know there are messages in the feed, because checked it opening the same URL in a web browser, and it showed several right-encoded messages. Also, when using the same URL in Firefox Live-Bookmarks ir works just fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create RSS subscription for the given URL (http://rss.groups.yahoo.com/group/Trivial-pursuit/rss) 2.Wait for thunderbird to download the messages from the feed. Actual Results: Thunderbird keeps downloading forever (never finds anymessages), but before, it downloaded many (16), but only showed 2. Expected Results: Thunderbird correctly downloading & showing the last messages.

There have been multiple fixes to RSS feed parsing since the 1.0 releases; with 1.5a1-0904, this feed loads without problem.
