Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 I have a Logitech Click! Plus Wireless mouse which has the additional "Scroll Left", "Scroll Right" (horizontal scrolling in additional to the vertical scrolling of web pages), "Page Forward", and "Page Back" (move web pages forward and back, like the ALT-LEFT and ALT-RIGHT keyboard shortcuts). These mouse features works perfectly with IE but can not function with FireFox. I really love the FireFox interface but I also think these functions are very important for a true user-friendly MMI. Hope there will be updates for this bug-fix! Thanks! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Scroll mouse side scroll buttons 2.Press mouse page forward and page back 3. Actual Results: nothing happened Expected Results: 1. page scrolls left and right 2. browser moves to the next and previous pages

same with "Logitech MX Laser"-Mouse (brandnew): IT works in IE, but not in Firefox (latestVersion 1.0.4). I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2.

(In reply to comment #1) > same with "Logitech MX Laser"-Mouse (brandnew): IT works in IE, but not in > Firefox (latestVersion 1.0.4). I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2. For the Logitech MX1000 laser mouse it is https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259450 The new Setpoint driver supports Firefox/Mozilla now. Actually come to think, the two Cordless Click!™ versions use the SetPoint™ software also so this bug is a duplicate of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259450 ? (the corded Click!™ mouse uses the mouseware) Duplicate of Bug 259450 ?

(In reply to comment #3) > using a logitech laser mouse, does not scroll using foxfire or the backwards & > fowards also does not work. @Howard, If your using the MX1000 laser mouse than it is Bug 259450 as I mentioned before you posted. If your using another Logitech mouse that is using the Setpoint driver, take a look at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Logitech_mouse You may likely have to update your Setpoint driver as it was only fairly recently (May?) Logitech provided more proper support for Firefox with the Setpoint drivers. Set the middle button/scroll wheel as well "Middle Button" and in Firefox go to Tools->Options->Advanced->Browsing-> "Use autoscrolling" http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/options#advanced

I have found that the Logitech site has a work around/fix for this issue: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2178&p_created=1108680828&p_sid=59mPacQh&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MSZwX3Byb2RzPTg0NCw4NDYsODIxJnBfY2F0cz0mcF9wdj0zLjgyMSZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9ZmlyZWZveA**&p_li=&p_topview=1

Using Logitec Cordless MouseMan Optical, "page back" doesn´t work anymore, after the latest update (friday night I think it was some toolbar extensions funktions that screw things up), neither original funktion nor Logitecs fix mentioned at the bottom of this page!

This boils down to the same issue with the Logitech drivers. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 259450 ***
