First time user.

Using Win98 SE with custom Windows black background color scheme.

When you open the menus, all of the items appear in the proper color of my
color scheme, very light blue.

Saying menu, vew, layout leads to a submenu of four items: classic view, wide
view, vertical view, and message pane. The first three are in a "menu" radio
button set and the last one is a toggle indicated with a check mark. With my
black background the words all appear in the proper light blue color but the
radio button and the check mark are hard coded black and are not the light
blue that they should be. Because they are black on black, I cannot see them.
I know they are black, because when I switch to a colored background color
scheme, I can see the radio button and the check mark.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Switch to a black background color scheme.
2.Say menu, view, layout, and look at the radio button and check mark.
3.

Actual Results:
The radio button and check mark could not be seen because they were black
on black.

Expected Results:
The radio button and check mark should have been light blue, the color in my
Windows color scheme, and the color of the test items in the menus.
This occurs in TB, Firefox and Mozilla -- it's a Core bug. Seen under Windows
2000 as well. I don't know if this problem extends to Linux or Mac.

The little symbol for Submenu is also drawn only in black.

Is this even possible? Thunderbird supports theming, that includes the colors of
the checks and radio menu dots. The checks are green when using Phoenity, for
example...

The default (qute) theme, like Mozilla Classic, uses the system colors.
