Tested with current M14 builds on Mac and Windows. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/ ==> The links at the top ("All Products... Home") are offset to the right of the window. The workaround is to use the horizontal scrollbar to display these links. Go to http://www.msnbc.com ==> The yellow box is offset to the right too, making the links invisible. There is no workaround, the site is badly broken. A reduced testcase is checked in: tests\table\bugs\other\ms.html

Microsoft doesn't show properly... MSNBC is broken... Marking beta1.

MSNBC is full of LAYERs, so that part is INVALID. But better cc ekrock, since it's such an important site.

First part (http://www.microsoft.com/) is a duplicate of bug 20804 "Most of a row is being painted off the page." Second part(http://www.msnbc.com) - I saved the page *using Mozilla* and looked through the markup and I didn't see any LAYERs. So I don't think the problem at MSNBC is related to LAYERs. Inspecting the markup that is fed to Communicator4.7 indeed had LAYERs though.

mats, right you are. Distilled the MSNBC problem down to a simplified testcase. A whole table cell is swallowed; the problem goes away if you either remove the <script> tag pair or the <style> tag pair. I think MSNBC is top100. CC: rickg for parser angle.

What you should see are two table cells, one says "Text", the other "ImgMap". On Linux build 2000.02.23.08, I see only the cell that says "Text."

The 2nd cell's frame insn't getting created in the attachment. Adding "frame construction" keyword to comments.

This bug appears to be fixed - the <script><style> problem has gone away. It works under build 2000032409 under Linux.
