I have a link in my bookmark toolbar to a manual that resides in your
corporations file server. When I take my laptop to home and connect it to the
Internet it takes quite long (about 10 sec) to start firefox or open a new
window. Browser seems to hang and small green arrow appers next to Help-menu.
When I removed the link from the toolbar the delay disappeared.

This may be a duplicate of 265794

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Map a network drive (eg. run "net use X: \\<some machine>\<some share>")
2. Drag a document from that drive to your bookmark toolbar (tested with a
HTML-document)
3. Close firefox
4. Take your machine to another network where share is not available
5. Open firefox
I don't think it's the icon, becuase that's stored in the bookmarks-file itself.
So it's probbaly a duplicate of bug 265794, if FF tries to validate the path.
