Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 I did a planned clean install of my OS, with all files backed up on another HD, including my T'Bird Address Book. When I finished and began re-installing applications, including T'Bird, the only options to import the address book weren't very satisfactory. Importing from an email application didn't apply. The option to import a file adds it to T'Bird, not as part of the Address Book, but as a separate option? showing the filename I previously gave it. When I want to add a sender to an email, clicking on the sender's name in that address book does no good. I can see the names just as they were in the old address book, but they just open up a Card when I click on one rather than add to the email as an addressee. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. See above Expected Results: I would like to be able to import an address book from a file the same way I import one from an email application. Now I am planning on typing the addresses in individually instead.
