User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050217 MultiZilla/1.8.0.0a
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050217 MultiZilla/1.8.0.0a

Opening news.google.com causes Mozilla to
A) use an every-growing amount of memory (to the point of making everything else
swap out)
B) Continuously make requests of the X font server, such that the XFS task is
running at 40% CPU load (and be disk I/O bound).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install 1.8B1
2. Open news.google.com

Actual Results:
Mozilla memory usage grows by 10MByte/second, Mozilla consumes 15% CPU, XFS
consumes 40% CPU (XFS memory usage constant).

Page is never displayed.

Expected Results:
Opened the page with a minimal increase in memory usage.

please try without multizilla installed
Keywords: crash
Version: unspecified → Trunk
When I installed the the 4/8 nightly build (still with Multizilla installed) I
did not have this problem.

So, I'm going to mark this WORKSFORME as I don't want to fall back to the
previous version.
