When highlighting a a line of text in the reply box and pressing delete it fails
to do so. This also happens on other input text areas.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to google.com
2.input some random text and highlight the line.
3.press delete (backspace)
Actual Results:  
failed to erase the text.

Expected Results:  
Erased the text highlighted in the textbox.

This sounds like a duplicate of the well-known text entry bug that cropped up
sometime in the last week. (Sorry, don't have a bug number on it, but it's been
discussed a lot over at Mozillazine.)

Are you talking about bug 289022? I'm not sure if they're related, but I
wouldn't be surprised. Adding Wevah to verify.
