User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050408 Firefox/1.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050408 Firefox/1.0+ When browsing in a html-file and there is a link to a pdf-file I simply want to open that file in a new window with acrobat. Instead Firefox opens first a blank browser window that stays resistent even when I close the acrobat. Also I do not care to see a download manager, but I have tried all settings with download manger and tabs - that stupid blank browser window keeps on poping up. Alfred Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open e.g. http://www.hypovereinsbank.de/pub/home/home.jsp 2. click on for example "Freitagspapier" 3. a blank window opens 4. download manger opens 5. acrobat is opened 6. download manger closes 7. I can close the acrobat window but the blank browser window is still there Actual Results: a blank browser window is opened for no reason Expected Results: I just don't want to see the stupid blank window neither the download manger - just the file to be opened in whatever its need.
