"NO RESOLUTION YET" should appear in red slice

This got improved at some point, at least in BMO. It now contains "---", which if you didn't know better like tiny, unreadable text.
Which brings up a different matter, the font/text size in general is not great.

which could partly be bug 289698, but I don't find anything about the ancient font choice.
IIRC there are thoughts to move to a modern graphing system, so perhaps a moot point
