With linux suite trunk build 20050409, creating a top-level IMAP folder fails
silently. It also doesn't work with Mozilla 1.7, so the server might be doing
something wierd. With a different IMAP account, creating a new folder works.

yes (with build 20080928093343)
Product: Core → MailNews Core
Andrew, do you still see this with current trunk or latest beta?
If Andrew sez yes, can someone peek at his protocol log?
Whiteboard: [has protocol log]
I see it with current SeaMonkey, which has the same backend.
Nikolay, does protocol log reveal anything?
Server reply is "8 NO Permission denied", so clearly it's server config/permission issue. It might be issue with pre 2.0 version but I doubt it still issue usually then IMAP server response something not "OK" we will show message to user.
