The problem:
Firefox extensions create menu items in arbitary places and order. Some
extensions create redundant items in several top-level menus as well as in
context menu. As a result, menus quickly become overcrowded and items are not
always showed in an order that makes sense (especially the Tools menu and
context menus).

Possible solution:
A way to reorder and disable menu items (may be something similar to
"Customize..." feature of MS Office applications) should be provided.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
There are extensions availible for this and most users don`t need this.

http://cdn.mozdev.org/compact/
and there is also an extensions for editing contect menus

Well, I tried Compact Menu and found it pretty useless since it only allows you
to twaek top-level menu items, which I personally find just fine the way they
are. The issue here is with first-level menus (especially Tools) and the context
menus, which become overcrowded with (often redundant) extension items.

I personally could not find any extension that addresses this issue and not sure
if it can be addressed at extension level at all.

Don't reopen bugs just because you disagree with the bug resolution. This is not
something that a majority of our user base wants and it will therefore not be
included in our default install.
