Hi,

I have installed "Plug-in For Hosting ActiveX Controls" in windows 2000 machine 
on Netscape 7.02 version.
Downloaded from http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/plugin.htm.

It it working fine for "Microsoft calendar control", But If I try to use 
Mediaplayer or any other activex control.

It is showing an alert message as "Illegal Operation in Plugin" at page 
loading. And Page is not showing the media player control and other activex 
controls.

Can you please give me the guidance for this.

Two things here:

1) Netscape and Mozilla are similar but not the same - Netscape problems should
be reported to them. (Netscpe 7.02 is also based on an OLD version of the
Mozilla code.)

2) The problem is caused by a plugin.  So the fault is quite likely to be there,
not in the browser code.  Have you tried contacting the plugin authors?  

As this bug is not in Mozilla, and is caused by a plugin, I think it is invalid.

By the way, the status "blocker" is for bugs which block development or testing
of things, not simply problems giving serious messages.

This bug is invalid
We don't accept Netscape bugs and we don't accept bugs from old Release
Versions. Netscape7.02 is based on Mozilla1.0.2 but the current Mozilla Release
is 1.7.6
