Expected Results:
Firefox don't open URLs with password (like http://name:pass@example.com)

Firefox don't open URLs with password (like http://name:pass@example.com)
Works me in FF 1.0.2
example.com doesn't work (that website doesn't exists), but I tried
<http://name:pass@google.com>. I also got the security warning associated with
this type of urls.

Reproter, do you have a specific website where this doesn't work ? (do not post
your name & password in public !)

This is not enough.
What's happening (Password/username rejected, nothing, website opens without
password/username) ?
WFM ... tested on actual password protected development site.

Note: http:// *must* be specified ...
Warning message is displayed, this is a deprecated method of sending username /
password as it has MANY security vunribilities.

hans hasenjäger This bug is only for http://name:pass@domain.inv but your
example doesn't work if you open the URL and enter your username/pass in the
basic authentification login prompt (tested with IE6 and Mozilla)
