To use EarthLink's Authenticated SMTP (ASMTP) server to send email from your
EarthLink email address, you need to make a one-time change to the settings in
your email program. Your settings should be changed to:
* Server address: smtpauth.earthlink.net
* Account ID or Username: your EarthLink email address
* Password: your EarthLink password
These settings are secure, and will allow you to send mail no matter how you are
connected to the Internet (work, a different Internet provider, ect.).
We encourage you to change your email settings and start using ASMTP right away.
Windows Mac OS X Mac (Classic)

Reproducible: Always
Actual Results:

Expected Results:
Provide access to my mail accounts.

This is invalid, you qouted only the earthlink help.
It should work (because NS7 is listed) even if TB isn't setup correctly.
You are also at the wrong place if you need userhelp to configure your settings.
Use the mozillazine.org Forums for that.
