I think this is more a 3rd Party (Nvidia Active Armor) Problem with this Firewall like a Firefox Problem. I have used different Firewalls (Kerio Firewall, Zonealarm) without Problems. Have you contacted the Vendor of this Firewall for Support ?
Summary: Problem using mozilla 1.02 with nvidia's firewall → Problem using Firefox 1.02 with nvidia's firewall
Version: unspecified → 1.0 Branch
I will mark this invalid because its a 3rd party Issue (this activearmor Firewall) and no Problem from Mozilla. Make sure that in this firewall the Internetaccess is allowed for Firefox. -> Resolved invalid

We're now tracking such bugs. This doesn't mean it's something we can fix, merely something we hope to be able to point vendors to so they can investigate. This is an automated message.
