Copying a URL and pasting it in location field cease to work after a few
times in the location field. (Pasting becomes disabled).

Win32 specific. Seems related to bug 16520.

Something is getting screwed up with focus here. After a while (some random set 
of operations), the editor controller stops being called to update, and execute 
commands in the URL bar. So paste stops working.

I'll bet money (not much, though) that this is the root cause is the same as 
29001.

Any more info than "random set of operations"? One window, two windows, sidebar 
yes, sidebar no, etc.

I just reproduced this very easily (4-5 reps of selecting in page, copy, paste
in URL bar) in today's NS verification build on Win98.  Navigator window, no
sidebar, 3pane mail window in background.

I think you just morphed this bug into a different problem. There seems to be a 
new, recent problem that causes paste to be disbled all the time. I filed bug 
29548  on saari about this.

The case I can reproduce on my builds requires deactivating and reactivating the 
window.
I think 29548 is the same bug
I think I just nailed this, at least, I nailed every case I can reproduce.

Verified fixed on March 1st 2000 builds --- Win NT 4.0SP5, Mac OS 8.6, and RH
Linux 6.0/GNOME.

Unable to reproduce this problem by following blee's steps to reproduce, or
asj@ipa.net's steps to reproduce. Verified fixed.
