If the download manager is selected as the preference when downloading files, it
appears as soon as one starts downloading anything, but all the panes (speed,
percentage downloaded, progress bar, etc.) show zero or nothing happening when,
in fact, downloading is proceeding normally. This bug has been introduced
recently: it is not present in Build 20050331, but is present in 20050409 as
well as 20050411. The URL above (recognize it?) is only an example. The bug
shows up on all sites.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure 'Download Manager' is selected in Preferences.
2.Go to a suitable website.
3.Start downloading a sizable file.
4.Observe the download manager.
Actual Results:
No progress is shown. Speed and amount downloaded remain at zero.
Expected Results:
The progress bar should start moving and the other panes should show the speed
and the increasing amount downloaded.
eMac G4, OS X 10.3.8.
