Details

The preview images should be stored in the database and not on the local disk.  

Results:
Using a local development environment, you don't have any of the previews for
themes and extensions
My current dev environment throws

Warning:
getimagesize(/home/alanjstr/public_html//images/previews/noia_2_(yop)-1.jpg):
failed to open stream: No such file or directory in
/home/alanjstr/public_html/themes/showlist.php on line 420
Better to let people rsync the images than to add more DB stress for the preview images: WONTFIX.
