mailto: URLs are ignored, e.g. "Kontakt" on http://www.mozilla-europe.org/de/search/

installed email app is TB. Please see #288669, I guess it could be the same
problem "no default email app in Win32, no mailto:"

what happens if you do windows:Start/execute and enter 
"mailto:webmaster-de@mozilla-europe.org" (without the "") ?

I get a popup with a (german) error message - I try to translate it into english:

"there is no application associated with this file. Use control panel -> folder
options to define one".

There I see entries like "URL:HTTP" and many others, but nothing that could be
related to a "mailto:"
this is no Firefox issue if you don't have a registered mailnews application.
