Build Identifier: (I have the latest version of Firefox)

Firefox will not open after I downloaded and installed your latest updates (6
of them) today, 4-13-05. A window pops up which says "The program must close
to allow a previous installation to complete. Please restart." No amount of

BACK??

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Double-click on the Firefox icon on the desktop (or the .exe file in Program
Files.
2.This is all I have to do. It will not start. See details above.
3.

Actual Results:
Firefox will not start. See "details" above

Expected Results:
Firefox should have opened. It always did before I downloaded and installed
your latest updates.

I am using Windows XP Pro.
Try restarting your PC. Has this solved the problem?
