Hi,

I am Pascal Chevrel, author a a soon to be published Firefox and Thunderbird
book in French (http://www.fnac.com/Shelf/article.asp?PRID=1656524 final book
title is not definite, probably will be "Firefox & Thunderbird, utilisateurs
avancés").

My editor told me that he after asking for the sue of the firefox logo, he was
told we couldn't use it for our cover. Can we use firefox and thunderbird
screenshots instead on our cover ?

Yes, using Firefox screenshots on the cover is OK, as long as it's not a
back-door way to display a big logo as a "zoomed-in" screenshot ;-). The main
requirement is that it doesn't appear as if the book is official or endorsed by
the Foundation.
