A click in the page does not always deselect. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.google.com/ 2. Select some text e.g. "Searching 8,058,044,651 web pages". 3. Click somewhere on the empty white bottom of the page. Actual Results: Selection doesn't get unselected, unless you click very nearby the selection. Expected Results: Deselect, wherever I click in the page.
This may or may not be related to bug 290469 and/or bug 290464
Bug is very very old; 30-April-2004 - 2-May-2004. When the profile was still called "Firefox".
