Add new recepients into new mail until vertical scroll bar in recepients pane
appear. Then try to scroll recepient list up. Long horizontal scroller appears
in recepients pane.

Could you state exactly what you mean by "scrolling up"?  Do you drag or click 
on the vertical scrollbar?  I'm not able to reproduce this.

Your screenshot seems to be showing the Classic theme.  Do you see the same 
results with Modern?

Are you running Windows with "large fonts"?


I have seen this scrollbar in Thunderbird, but I don't think it's because of 
"scrolling up." It appears to be related to having an attachment.

TB 1.0+0414, Win2K.  Running with "large fonts" (120dpi).  default (qute) theme.

Steps to reproduce:
Open compose window
Add attachment

I immediately see the horizontal scrollbar in this case.

Yes, I see it in Modern theme.
To scroll up recepient list I click mouse on "up" button of right sscroll bar,
or scroll mouse wheel, or drag thumb on right scroller. Same effect I see, if I
move by recepients without mouse, with "shift+tab" keyboard buttons. To see this
effect you need have more recepients that you can see lines at a time in
recepients pane.

No, I not using "large fonts", but I have limit for minimal font size 13 - if it
does matter.

It not relative with attechements.
I made new screen shot with "modern" theme, without any attachements, and with
unrequested horizontal scroller - see new attechement to this bug.
