the link at
http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Graphic-ads-show-teen-in-body-bag/2005/04/16/1113509969360.html
will not open the link either by clicking on it or by cutting and pasting into
the address bar.
The hyperlink does work (it works in IE6 and when converted to a tinyurl). The
tiny url is http://tinyurl.com/8ccq6.
I have noticed this happening with other links as well, but only since version
1.01. I do not have the other broken URLS but come across at least one a day
(and not all from the one website).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.goto the link
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Nothing. After clicking on the link embedded in a page it stays at the original
page, when copying into address bar Firsfox stays the the original page it was
displaying prior to copying in the url.

Expected Results:
Gone to the page referenced by the link (as per http://tinyurl.com/8ccq6).

Do you use extensions like adblocker (there is "ads" in the URl) ?
Did you get this in the Firefox safemode ?
I found the problem. I turns out that adblock is blocking it due to a particular
regex being used (it blocks it due to the word ad in the page title.
Sorry for the confusion.
