Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Both of the following URLs perform the requested search: keyword:firefox plugins keyword:firefox%20plugins The problem is that, when the Google results page comes up with the first one, trying to open a result link in a new tab or window (using either the right-click menu or ctrl+click on the link) doesn't work. With the latter, it works as expected. If I don't put the keyword: in front of the search terms myself, Firefox will do the automatic escaping of the spaces itself, but that doesn't work if the search terms include a hostname, apparently. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

This works for me using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050416 Firefox/1.0+

If it makes any difference, 1.0.3 on this machine was an upgrade from 1.0.2, rather than a clean install. 1.0.2 wasn't uninstalled before the upgrade began.

It doesn't work in FF1.0.3, but it does in recent trunk builds. It was therefore fixed since Firefox 1.0 was released.
