Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3

Both of the following URLs perform the requested search:

keyword:firefox plugins
keyword:firefox%20plugins

The problem is that, when the Google results page comes up with the first one,
trying to open a result link in a new tab or window (using either the
right-click menu or ctrl+click on the link) doesn't work. With the latter, it
works as expected.

If I don't put the keyword: in front of the search terms myself, Firefox will do
the automatic escaping of the spaces itself, but that doesn't work if the search
terms include a hostname, apparently.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
This works for me using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR;
rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT
5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050416 Firefox/1.0+

If it makes any difference, 1.0.3 on this machine was an upgrade from 1.0.2,
rather than a clean install. 1.0.2 wasn't uninstalled before the upgrade began.
Try this with a new profile and if it still does not works try to find how to
repeat the bug.

It doesn't work in FF1.0.3, but it does in recent trunk builds. It was therefore
fixed since Firefox 1.0 was released.
