No, it doesn't. (Note that the command line in "steps to reproduce" is missing the "mailto:" scheme prefix, but you indicate it correctly earlier in the report.) That used to work in Moz 1.4, but not since 1.5. The workaround (thru 1.7) has been to use -browser instead. This has changed as of Moz 1.8 -- now the -compose switch needs to be used instead: Bug 236774. However, when 1.8 installs itself, it does not set up the command line for mailto handling to include the -compose switch; this problem was bug 202497. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 220306 ***
