Details
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050417 Firefox/1.0+ A visual preference for the browser.cache.check_doc_frequency setting would be very useful in Firefox. I believe it would also match Internet Explorer if we did this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Edit > Preferences 2. Privacy > Cache 3. Look for a way to change how often a page is checked for updates. Actual Results: No such way was found. Expected Results: Should have found a way to change this preference easily. A good way to do this in my opinion would be with a drop-down list. Even finding the preference in about:config isn't that useful, because you then need to find a way to convert an integer into an expected behaviour. It's not obvious what numbers mean what frequency.
