Empty area appears in Mail address list when resizing its height.
(spawned off from bug 289703 comment 7).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Open a Mail composition window
2. enter 7 addresses (or as many as needed to create a vertical scrollbar)
4. grab the horizontal splitter and drag it down slowly.

ACTUAL RESULTS:
An empty area appears at the top of the address list. See screenshot.

PLATFORMS & BUILDS TESTED:
Bug occurs in Mozilla nightly trunk 2005-04-18-05 on Linux (GTK1).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Bug also occurs in Mozilla 1.7.3 and 1.5 on Linux so it's not a regression.

I can't reproduce this bug: Wayne, can you, even on Thunderbird?

What I do see, but I think it's normal, is a partial blank line at the bottom of the pane when the list is scrolled all the way to the bottom and increasing the pane's height to a noninteger number of times the line height. Everything scrolls down by one line when the next integer multiple is reached.

agree with what you see/don't see WRT thunderbird.

Dragging splitter back and forth I was able for a second see that line at top, it appears when there is enough space below last address to fit another address line and list start rearranging. But this is very edge case, I don't see problem while usual usage, closing as WFM
