Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414

Both TeX and LaTeX files created by TeXShop 1.35e appear correctly in the upper
right corner of the Compose window's Attachment frame i.e. with the correct icon.
However, they are received as part of the message and even the copy in the Send
folder has the text of the TeX files within the message.
The copy in the Send folder does show the two files but with blank icons. Once
downloaded, they appear with the correct icon and can be double-click opened.
SOME RECIPIENTS, THOUGH, ONLY GET THE TEXT OF THE FILES,IN-MESSAGE.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
It does not matter whether the files are dragged into the Compose window's
Attachment frame or attached by Attach and gong through the Open file
Actual Results:
SOME RECIPIENTS ONLY GET THE TEXT OF THE FILES,IN-MESSAGE.

Expected Results:
It should attach TeX and LaTeX files externally, just like any other file.

This is truly annoying as copy-pasting TeX and/or LaTeX code from a message
occasionally introduces artifacts which prevent the file to be typeset and which
are difficult to diagnostic.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
