Once a pdf file is loaded in FireFox the browser hangs and I am forced to use ctrl/Alt/del to exit

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 once any pdf file is opened on a page in firefox, the browser hangs up and I am forced to use control alt delete to exit the browser. Once closed, a dialogue box with caution sign appears with the following message "one or more pdf documents are open inside a web browser. If you exit acrobat now those documents will be closed. Are ytou sure you want to exit?" I am using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 w/windows xp professional, adobe acrobat 6.0 professional on a dell inspiron 5100. Several of my collegues are experiencing the identitcal problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.chose a site with a pdf page 2.launch the page in the firefox browser (acrobat 6.0 professional) 3.try to close the page or the browser Actual Results: Browser hangs up/forced to end task with ctrl/alt/del then dialogue box with caution sign appears with the following message "one or more pdf documents are open inside a web browser. If you exit acrobat now those documents will be closed. Are ytou sure you want to exit?" Expected Results: closed the page as commanded

Upgrading to Adobe Reader 7.0 makes a huge difference from Adobe Reader 6.0. I don't know if this translates into the Professional versions and I don't know how feasible it is for you to upgrade. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 204550 ***
