once any pdf file is opened on a page in firefox, the browser hangs up and I am
forced to use control alt delete to exit the browser. Once closed, a dialogue
box with caution sign appears with the following message "one or more pdf
documents are open inside a web browser. If you exit acrobat now those
documents will be closed. Are ytou sure you want to exit?"

I am using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6)
Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 w/windows xp professional, adobe acrobat 6.0
professional on a dell inspiron 5100. Several of my collegues are experiencing
the identitcal problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.chose a site with a pdf page
2.launch the page in the firefox browser (acrobat 6.0 professional)
3.try to close the page or the browser

Actual Results:
Browser hangs up/forced to end task with ctrl/alt/del then dialogue box with
caution sign appears with the following message "one or more pdf documents are
open inside a web browser. If you exit acrobat now those documents will be
closed. Are ytou sure you want to exit?"

Expected Results:
closed the page as commanded
Upgrading to Adobe Reader 7.0 makes a huge difference from Adobe Reader 6.0. I
don't know if this translates into the Professional versions and I don't know
how feasible it is for you to upgrade.
