In the past two days I've had two mail messages that I couldn't read via
Thunderbird 1.0.2

The message shows in the summary pane, but when I click to read, nothing shows
up in the preview pane, and if I double click, an empty window shows up.

If I go and open my local copy of INBOX, the message doesn't appear in there -
the previous and latter do - but not the one that's missing.

If I login using a different IMAP client (like mutt), it can access it, and if I
use that client to save the offending email, and move it into my INBOX again
(i.e as "new"), that copy shows up fine in Thunderbird - so it isn't a corrupt
mail message itself.

Looks to me that if Thunderbird experiences some problem downloading a message,
it marks it internally as being zero-length and doesn't think anything was wrong?

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

This isn't reproducable. I don't know what conditions caused it. I can tell you
this is occuring over the Internet - so network glitches could be impacting it.
Also I can tell you neither the server or laptop were out of disk/memory at the
time it happened.

Restarting thunderbird doesn't help either.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
