Firefox's check update button doesn't work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go under Advancaned
2.click on check update
3.

Actual Results:
When I click on check update it says that no update was found and right under it

Then right next to it there is a Details button and when clicked it says:

My bad I didn't know which category it fell under.
Does it still happen? The update server has been under a bit of load lately and
it could simply be that (works fine for me). If it doesn't clear up report back
here.

Hi, i'm using 1.06 and it happens as well.

Version: unspecified → 1.0 Branch
There have been many update related bugs in 2005 which resulted in various major fixes. Since the reported problem is by no means specific / detailed and refers to the old Fx 1.0.x branch, resolving as WFM.

Feel free to report back and ask for the bug to be reopened if you believe this ignores anything which is still of importance.
