RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 142179

People

(Reporter: jim.hyslop, Assigned: bugzilla)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3

The cookie manager sorts domains in strict alphabetical order. This means you
could have the following domains listed:

one.mozilla.org
one.someothersite.com
two.mozilla.org
two.someothersite.com

It would be *extremely* useful if the cookie manager, and the "Exceptions" page,
could sort sites in domain order, so that all sites are grouped together, as in:

one.mozilla.org
two.mozilla.org
one.someothersite.com
two.someothersite.com

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Store lots of cookies from different sites, or add a lot off different sites to
the list of sites in the site manager.

Open the cookie manager (Tools, Options, Privacy, Cookies) and click on the
"Exceptions" button or the "View Cookies" button.
Actual Results:
See "Details" field.

Expected Results:
See "Details" field.
