It just crashes as I left it there without opening any page and using IE. There
will be a Windows error window, the one with the red cross, and it says general
protection fault.

Reproducible: Didn't try

1. It just happens suddenly
Actual Results:  
It is hard to come by, as it happens suddenly.

Expected Results:  
Should not crash

There is unfortunately not enough information here to be able to fix whatever
the bug is. You could install "talkback" and let it report crashes to us, that
would give us more information to go on.

Assuming your build information is correct (Windows, firefox 1.0.3) you can
install talkback from the following link. IMPORTANT: talkback is specific to
your operating system, and for us to get valid information back you need to
match the version of Firefox; adjust URL as necessary. Rightclick to save as to
your desktop, then drag it onto a Firefox window.
