I am unable to change "Compositioning and Addressing" when managing identiites.

Right click on your mailaddress -> properties -> manage identities -> choose 
your identity (I have several) -> edit -> compositioning & Addressing.

In here I am unable to choose: "Then, ..... and place my signature below my 
reply". I am able to choose it and click OK but it doesn't work and when I hgo 
back it still says: "below the quote (recommended)".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click on your mailaddress
2. properties
3. manage identities
4. choose your identity (I have several)
5. edit
6. compositioning & Addressing.
Actual Results:  
In here I am unable to choose: "Then, ..... and place my signature below my 
reply". I am able to choose it and click OK but it doesn't work and when I hgo

Expected Results:  
The expected result would be: "place my signature below my reply"

I'm duping this to the earliest of the related bugs, but depending on the 
response to my query at the dupe, that bug may be duped to bug 284058.  At 
question is whether the problem is seen editing the default identity, or one of 
the other identities; this bug appears to claim the problem exists for any 
identity.
