User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050217 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050217 whenever i reply to a mail but want to direct that reply to any additional recipient besides the original sender of the message, mozilla does not look up the address of the additional recipient and does not complete the TO: oder CC: field in the message window as usual. i then have to c&p the addresses of recipients i also wish to address my reply to into the address field. bug #289395 seems similar but is reported for new messages only, not replies. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=289395 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. select a mail and click "reply". 2. enter the (beginning of) names of further recipients into address fields below original recipient and press tab. Actual Results: no autocomplete as usual occurs, you have to insert recipient addresses other than the original address replied to by hand. Expected Results: mozilla should autocomplete the address field via address book lookup as it does in any other mail composition process it's perfectly reproducable on both my XP- and Debian-Machines. And it's annoying.
