I recently downloaded Firefox ver. 1.03 to replace my FF 1.02 browser. When the
browser automatically restarts after a successful installation, the browser
attempts to connect with the Mozella homepage. But the broswer just would
"hang." Suspecting it may be firewall related since my Norton displayed that
Firefox was attampting to connect to server, I turned off the firewall (FW)
portion of Norton (and turned on windows FW)and the browser would then connect.

But the new Firefox will not shut down on my computer, even when it is not being
displayed. My computer then will, in turn, not shut down properly. However,
I've noticed that if I do not utilize the FF 1.03 browser, my computer will then
shut down and work normally! I have gone back to FF 1.02 and it works
perfectly! Please fix this, I love FIREFOX!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Turning Norton Firewall off and on to measure FF accessibilty.
2.Removing, then redownloading FF 1.03 with same results.
3.Turning the computer off while not engaging FF 1.03 and attempting to turn off
wafter engaging FF 1.03.

Actual Results:
Firefox works when Norton firewall is off, but not when it is on.

My computer will not shut down properly after I have started, then shut down FF
1.03.

Expected Results:
Firefox 1.03 should work with Norton Internet Security as well as previous versions.

FF 1.03 should in no way interfere with my computer (shutting down).
Reporter, please file a bug for every problem you have, and don't dump multiple
problems in one bugreport. If you separate problems in different bugs,
Developers can respond to them in the best way possible - solving two problems
at once is not very efficient.

I also suspect Firefox cannot do anything about Norton not detecting it
immediately as a legitimate program. I am sure you can configure Norton to allow
Firefox to connect to the internet, being unable to do so would be a problem
with Norton's firewall program, but not with Firefox.
