User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050420 Firefox/1.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050420 Firefox/1.0.3

It was working fine in 1.0.2. Since I can't open a console, I can't provide any
more info.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Opening, for instance, the Java ICQ2Go applet opens a blank browser window.
Unlike various similar problems a while ago in Mozilla, Firefox seems to be
aware of the plugin, but it appears not to be invoked properly. Loading stops
quite quickly.

Expected Results:
Applet should be loaded and executed.

Should be OS/2-only problem; verified on two systems.
Did you put ipluginw.dll in your new install?

What Java, innotek or golden code?
I tried adding ipluginw.dll and it had no effect, Mike. Didn't seem to be
required in Firefox 1.0.2, though I didn't look to see if it was automatically
installed.

It's Innotek's Java.
Java will not work unless you install ipluginw. you must have installed it at
some point. Did you copy the DLL and delete compreg.dat?
Tried it again, making sure compreg.dat was killed. No change.

That should include the compreg.dat in your components directory in your profile.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
