Emails (both in thunderbird and outlook) have links. Clicking on them does not
result in anything happening. But I do expect firefox to open and download
appropriate URL.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open any email with a link
2.click on link in the enail
3.

Actual Results:  
nothing.

Expected Results:  
open browser and download page

 This function worked until very recently. The only change I can think of is the
automatic windows 2000 updates I downloaded from microsoft was done.
