User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 2.0.40607; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: 1.0.3 I updated to 1.0.3 from 1.0.2. a. 1.0.3 started very slow. b. sometimes it didn't started at all. firefox.exe was in the process list, but the UI didn't showed up. c. sometimes it started without tabs, and with non-responsive menus. In this latter case the address and search fields were active, so I could enter a URL, but the page wasn't opened. I decided to downgrade to 1.0.2, but even after severeal uninstall-installs and restarts behaved as described in C. I also deleted C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox before installing 1.0.2, but it didn't helped. Now I have no idea what to do it, except reinstalling Windows. Reproducible: Didn't try

You probably need to check the FAQ sheet and other troubleshooting resources for Firefox.

Try creating a new profile, run firefox with -p: firefox.exe -p

I was able to install 1.0 then update it to 1.0.2. Now it works again, but I will not update to 1.0.3.

(In reply to comment #2) > Try creating a new profile, run firefox with -p: > firefox.exe -p I deleted the profile folder also, so it created a new profile after each install.

I got the very same problems, sometimes Firefox 1.0.3 do not start, ahve to kill it from taskmanager, sometimes it starts but wont let me type in URL field or google search field. It also seems lots of javascripts that worked in 1.0.2 no longer work in 1.0.3 and sometimes links wont open, i got to right click on them and pick "open in new tab" to get the link to open.
