291602 - Firefox 1.0.3 will not find any URL

After loading and installing Firefox update 1.0.3, the browser could not connect
to ANY site (ie: Google.com, microsoft.com, Netscape.com, etc.). I reinstalled
Firefox update 1.0.2 and found it to be functioning properly. Again attempted to
install Firefox update 1.0.3 with the same negative results. Rebooted the
computer resulting in no change with the problem. Reinstalled update 1.0.2 to
allow use of the Internet through Firefox.
No other problems with this browser.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Downloaded update and reinstalled with same results.

Actual Results:  
Firefox 5.0, update 1.0.3 will not perform as a browser on my computer!

Expected Results:  
Find home page at the very least!

No other problems at this time.

I'm sure that you use a firewall. You must update the firewal entry becuase the
firefox.exe cvhanged with the upgrade. That could mean that you have to remove
the FF entry and in the Firewall and add it again.

Please don't ask such support question in bugzilla. 
You can use for example the mozillazine.org forums if you need help.

Iw would be nice if you add a comment here if that fixed it or not and which
Firewall Do you use.
