Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2
When creating a folder in the bookmark manager, it is created in the root rather
than the expected place in the hierarchy.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure you have at least one folder in your bookmarks
2. Right click on the folder and choose "Manage folder"
3. Click "New Folder..." then "Cancel" (this takes focus away from all the bookmarks
4. Click "New Folder..." then "OK"
Actual Results:
A new folder is created in the root directory.
Expected Results:
A new folder is created as a child of the managed folder.

The same situation occurs when I try to create a new bookmark using Bookmarks
Manager.
The way to reproduce:
1. Launch Forefox;
2. Open Bookmarks Manger;
3. Select any folder (or create a new one and select it);
4. Select the "New Bookmark" menu item from the context menu or click the "New
Bookmark" button on Bookmarks Manager main toolbar;
5. Specify the bookmark properties and click the "OK" button.
As result you will see that the bookmark is created as the last child of the
previous folder.
Expected result:
The new bookmark should be created as a child (first of last - nevermind for me)
of the selected folder, not as a child of previous one.
Firefox info:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414
Firefox/1.0.3
I am able to reproduce this bug on the following user agents:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050707 Firefox/1.0+
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050707
Firefox/1.0+
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050707
Firefox/1.0.5
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b3) Gecko/20050708 Firefox/1.0+
Additionally, I have found that in addition to adding a folder or bookmark,
adding a live bookmark in this manner also produces this bug. It doesn't seem to
matter what sort of item it is.

What is strange is that this behaviour does not occur in the `Add bookmark' dialogue. That is, if you click `New folder' in the `Add bookmark' dialogue, it is created where you would expect (and not where it would be if you did it in the bookmark manager).
