[guessing at component] bz's testcase at http://web.mit.edu/bzbarsky/www/test.html has an infinite (or at least, long loading) iframe. while it loads, the stop button is greyed out. it shouldn't be. seamonkey cvs trunk from a few days ago, linux, gtk2

Note that we've behaved this way for a long time (at least since Jan 2003; I didn't bother testing earlier), so I suspect this is semi-purposeful for network activity after onload. Not sure why, though.... Maybe to avoid the stop button lighting up and throbber going for things like image precaching, XMLHttpRequest, etc, etc?
