Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 No value is added by enlarging the window, and reducing its already-small size causes data to be hidden. Allowing the user to resize is only confusing. Reproducible: Always

Actually, when the full treeview is shown, its extremely useful, since you can see a larger set of folders. WONTFIX.

I agree that sizing is extremely useful in full treeview, although there is no added value to sizing smaller than the starting size - there is a seperate bug about better sizing for treeview. My argument is that when NOT in treeview, the option of sizing has only negative impact.

So I'll make it that specific. Whether in tree or simple view, sizing the control smaller than the size where the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons begin to disappear is poor layout flow.

Do you mind telling me where in the bugzilla guidelines it is made clear that bug reporters should not re-open bugs if they refine the bug content to become a relevant bug again?

Actually, we can't dynamically turn resizing on and off, so we can't do it anyway. There's a bug on enforcing minimum window heights, once that's fixed there's a lot of work to do, but this bug as filed isn't fixable. But in the Bugzilla guidelines, unless you have info that identifies something that wasn't considered, you don't reopen it.
